StreetSmart is Back!

Two euro doesn’t buy much these days. But there’s power in numbers and all those two euros donated by individuals through StreetSmart over the last six years has amounted to over €34,000 being raised in support of people who are homeless in Cork. 

From December 1st, StreetSmart kicks into action again across Cork city and county for the seventh year in a bid to raise funds for Good Shepherd Services and Cork Simon Community. 

A simple and innovative initiative, from now 'till Christmas Eve, diners at participating StreetSmart restaurants have the opportunity to donate just €2 to their bill, or more if they so wish, to help people who are homeless. 

Six Cork restaurants are currently participating in StreetSmart; diners can choose from Roberts Cove Inn in the county and Café Paradiso, Continental Restaurant, Jacques Restaurant, Les Gourmandises and Star Anise in the city. Additional restaurants are still welcome to sign up.
