Organising, supporting or participating in an event, no matter how big or small, can be an enjoyable and very rewarding way to help raise money for Cork Simon Community. Cork Simon volunteers organise an extensive mix of varied fundraising events throughout the year, from table quizzes and flower demonstrations to Little Christmas Lunches and concerts! Events need participants and supporters – hundreds of people turn out throughout the year in support of Cork Simon. There are events to suit every taste – from running a mini marathon or full marathon to raise money for Cork Simon to attending an Open Garden or fashion show. Events are important in helping Cork Simon raise €2 million every year, but also give people an opportunity to be part of the solution to homelessness.
