Cork Contemporary Choir are hosting a concert

at St Peter’s on North Mall

Enjoy an evening of wonderful music from Cork Contemporary Choir, their guest Douglas Harmonia Singers and soloists Gheorghe Palcu and Lorna Moore!

Cork Contemporary Choir is a mixed voice choir dedicated to a 20th and 21st century repertoire. Established in 2018 the choir encourages young, emerging or contemporary established composers in their work by giving life to their compositions – all for your delight!

Stalwarts of the Cork International Choral Festival, Douglas Harmonia Singers have spent 25 years entertaining the Rebel County. This award-winning choir draw from their wider repertoire singing from many different genre, including jazz, traditional, popular and Sacred – and all with tremendous aplomb!

Multi award winning Bass-Baritone, Gheorghe Palcu received his extensive musical training in Italy. For us he performs from his wider repertoire in his own inimitable style! Drawing on his vast international experience a treat for all ages!

Limerick native Lorna Moore is a vocal coach and accomplished musician with a string of awards and accolades to her name. In addition to working with Douglas Harmonia Choir and CUH’s own ‘Scrubs’ choir Lorna also performs and competes widely both solo and in ensembles throughout Ireland and internationally.
