We visit primary and secondary schools to work with pupils in understanding the causes of and solutions to homelessness. Everyone has a role to play in tackling homelessness. Our school visits help pupils to build social awareness and good citizenship, and offer plenty of ideas and opportunities on how they can be part of the solution.
Third level students in Cork have a long and proud tradition of supporting Cork Simon Community. The award winning UCC Simon Society organises fundraising and awareness raising events throughout the academic year. CIT Social Care Students participate in work placements over several months across all our frontline services.
