Our 18th Annual Cork Simon Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, 23 May at Monkstown Golf Club. Our Golf Classic is organised by a small group of volunteer business leaders and is a fantastic day out.

Our Annual Cork Simon Golf Classic fundraiser has raised over €400,000 in support of our for men and women experiencing homelessness. Every euro donated helps us support even more people who have nowhere else to turn.

This annual event is an excellent opportunity for you as an individual or a business to take part in helping support men and women here in Cork out of homelessness.

We are most grateful to ARUP for their commitment and dedication over the last 18 years. We deeply appreciate ARUP’s dedication and voluntary support in organising this successful event year in and year out. It’s a partnership that is having a postive impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Cork.

 Finbarr Gannon, Chairman, Golf Classic Committee- ‘I have been involved as a volunteer with Cork Simon over a number of decades at this stage. Never was the need for Simon services so acute to support our friends in our city that are more vulnerable. For this reason, we would like to thank our sponsors and all those who support this fund-raising effort.

 Fiona McKiernan, Arup -‘I’ve been involved in  organising the annual event on behalf of Arup  since 2006. It has been a great opportunity  every year to help organise the event for Cork Simon and raise much needed funds to support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, providing housing, care and one-to-one support to people who have nowhere else to turn. Given the current housing crisis, it is more important than ever to lend our support and continue the fight against homelessness in Cork.’
