Purpose of Post: The Multi Task Attendant (MTA) will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of health and social care for clients. 

Some of the key duties of the role include:

• Supporting and assisting clients in all activities of daily living in line with the needs and wishes of the individual and as outlined in an agreed care plan.
• As directed, supporting the provision of a high quality, clean and customer focused service, including attending to housekeeping, catering, laundry, portering or general duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

• The ability to ensure that all clients are treated with dignity and respect and ensures that the welfare of the client is a key consideration at all times.
• Have basic management skills to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.
• Maintain a safe & tidy working environment.
• Have the knowledge of infection control policies and guidelines.
• Successfully engage with the clients' key workers and other various members of the multi-disciplinary team.
