How we can get more for your donation

CHARITABLE DONATION SCHEME

If you have, or are planning to donate to Cork Simon Community, your gift may be dramatically increased simply by signing a form. If you donate €250 or more in one calendar year and are an Irish tax payer, we
can claim tax back on your gift, at no extra cost to you.

That means your signature is worth at least an extra €112.

It is now even easier to complete and return your CHY 3 form. In conjunction with www.charitytaxback.ie, Cork Simon is now able to offer this service online. No printing or posting required – just click below.

I don’t know my PPS Number. Where can I find it?

You can find it on your payslip, or on your personal tax or social welfare documents.

Will you share my private information?

No. Your personal information is stored securely and will be used for the sole purpose of reclaiming tax on your generous gifts. Visit our full Privacy Statement.

How much will Cork Simon be able to claim back from my gift(s)?

45% on the total of your taxable donations, if you've given €250 or more in a calendar year, in one or more of the last 5 years.

Will filling out the form affect my tax status?

Don't worry, it won’t! The form is simply to allow us to claim tax relief on your kind gift(s).
