Barbara-Anne Richardson, Corporate Affairs Manager with Heineken Ireland, talks about the importance of community, listening and adapting to changing needs in their 21 year relationship with Cork Simon.

”We’re all navigating our own path in life, and sometimes we need somebody to put out a reaching hand and to help us on that path, and when I reflect on what Cork Simon do, that’s what I see; supporting people on the personal journey that they’re on and giving them the supports on that journey to be the best that they want to be.
When I consider the foundations of the relationship, we’re both deeply rooted here in Cork city and that gives us both a real understanding of the communities in which we operate.
I think it’s a very respectful relationship which is rooted in the history of it, but in how that relationship has evolved also.”
