Marnie Lane has been volunteering with Cork Simon for 16 years. She responded to a drive to recruit volunteers and has been part of the Soup Run ever since. Marnie gives a couple of hours of her time each Sunday evening.

"The Soup Run has been a place where I have got to meet incredible people, both volunteers and the people who use the service.
I think I have always enjoyed working with people. I think working with the homeless has made me appreciate how lucky I have been, and it is luck.
It’s been an honour to be with Cork Simon this long. It has been an eye opener and a fantastic life experience.”
